Getting Started

This guide walks you from sign-in to your first saved artifact in a few minutes.

1. Find your workspace

Each organization has its own workspace at a dedicated subdomain:

https://<your-org>.archforge.app

Open that URL and sign in. If you don't know your workspace slug, ask your ArchForge administrator, or follow the workspace link from your invitation email.

2. Get oriented

After signing in you land on the dashboard. The left sidebar lists the artifact types enabled for your organization — ADRs, reference architectures, standards, RFCs, and more. Selecting a type shows every artifact of that type.

3. Create your first artifact

  1. Pick a type in the sidebar (for example Decisions / ADR).
  2. Click New.
  3. Give it a title and write the body in the Markdown editor. Code blocks are syntax-highlighted and ```mermaid blocks render as diagrams.
  4. Save. Your artifact starts in Draft.
